7-12-21 THOUGHTS
What wholesome words to start my morning! They point my thoughts to our AWESOME GOD!
My heart sings in HOPE! With all the problems of being earthbound... Here is what matters!
Here is my ROCK and my substance. The day will be good because I have remembered... and I will remember! This great God who is praised below loves and cares for me... FOR US! We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Ps 111:1-10 Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart, In the company of the upright and in the assembly. 2 Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them. 3 Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever. 4 He has made His wonders to be remembered; The LORD is gracious and compassionate. 5 He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever. 6 He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations. 7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure. 8 They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness. 9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments;His praise endures forever.
Ps 95:6-7a Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. 7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand...
Ps 100:1-5 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. 3 Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.
May our souls be lifted up as God grants us one more day. I will do my very best to think of each of you in my prayers today. I am going to get out my church directory! We are together for a reason! Lord may we bear fruit to your name as we lift up and give praise to your name!
Eph 4:23-24 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
My Prayer:
O God work in and through each precious soul who loves you in the Rescue Church. Meld our hearts and souls into one that we may lift up your name in this community. May we see you as the great God of forever. Will you help us each to sing the forever song as we live.
